Rooms Division Manager/Executive Assistant Manager at Club Indigo
Description du poste:
The Rooms Division Manager (RDM) is responsible for Reception, Hostesses (Cashiers), Housekeeping and Laundry. In this role the RDM will become one of the principal faces of the resort to guests and staff alike.
An important additional responsibility will be to support the General Manager as the Executive Assistant Manager and to serve as the Acting General Manager in their absence.
In each of these roles the ability and interest in training and developing staff is of utmost importance. The successful RDM will require the ability to constantly adapt to the challenges presented by isolation, infrastructure issues, transportation
Qualifications requises:
Experience in remote and/or isolated locations such as a ship or destination resort would be most helpful.
At least 5 years of experience working in a Rooms Division management position.
Fluent in French with excellent writing and speaking skills in English. Creole and Spanish will be a plus
Computer literate with a background in Property Management Systems (PMS), Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Coaches and leads others and actively develops own team
Communicates in a style that inspires confidence and professionalism and builds credibility with guests and staff.
A propos de Club Indigo
Club Indigo is a beachfront resort 1.5 hours drive from Port au Prince. Originally constructed as a Club Med in the 1970's the property is now operated by the original owners.
The facilities are being constantly upgraded and improved and the property has moved to #5 in Haiti on Trip Advisor.
At present roughly 200 of the original 450 rooms have been returned to service. The facilities and amenities include a three meal restaurant, bar and lounge area, beach snack bar, significant meeting facilities, the largest pool in Haiti, Tennis Courts and a pristine white beach.
Club Indigo operates its own power generation plant, has a strong supply of natural water, good internet connectivity, air conditioned guest accommodations and staff housing, all set on lush grounds along the water’s edge.
