Capacity Building and Training Coordinator at Habitat for Humanity - Haiti

Description du poste:

The Capacity Building and Training Coordinator is responsible for the development, implementation and monitoring of all aspects related to the transfer of knowledge to program participants for Habitat for Humanity Haiti, in the community of Simon Pele, Port-au-Prince.
Reporting to the Livelihood and Gender Officer and in partnership with the Habitat Haiti project team, the Capacity Building and Training Coordinator will:
Curriculum Development
• Development of high quality training and capacity building modules/curricula as identified jointly in collaboration development partners.
•Develop, coordinate and evaluate Information, Education and Communication (IEC) training materials and programs in collaboration with technical experts and project partners.
•Develop for each learning intervention the supporting facilitators guide, training tools, pre and post-test forms, evaluation forms, etc.
Training
•Develop a training strategy and manage the delivery of training programs (and their component parts)
•Design and facilitation of small and large group interventions
•Ensuring the implementation of iterative capacity-building activities for target groups in project localities, including community leadership mechanisms.
•Ensure that each training module includes relevant cross-cutting issues, thus expanding the opportunity to reach participants on topics such as DRR, gender, human values, soft-skills, etc.
Data Collection, Reporting, and Impact Evaluation
•Monitoring and reviewing the progress of trainees through questionnaires and focus groups
•Develop and maintain a training participant database, and ensure all training records are kept in an orderly manner and are consolidated into analysis / impact reports
•Leveraging the training database to support the program strategy / increase opportunities for the participants (further education, employment opportunities, etc.)
•Ensure that monitoring systems are aligned with the project performance management framework
•Write and submit relevant training reports and consolidated output data to supervisor when requested
Partners
•Facilitate and promote capacity building among project partners
•Work with partners (corporations, relevant Government Ministries) to have training programs accredited and recognized
•Liaise with external stakeholders / partners to leverage learning opportunities from academics, private sector, and related professional industries
•Foster a sound working relationship with external training providers and ensure contract accountability towards delivering quality training / activities to participants
Institutional
•Ensure that all capacity building, learning modules, IEC activities are aligned with the global strategy and feed into systems for cross border learning within the network of HFH (and broader)
•Contribute lessons learned and material for public information from the project

Qualifications requises:

*Relevant Bachelor’s Degree or MBA, business management, sociology , with a technical construction degree a plus
*3-4 yrs Experince in Development of high quality training and capacity building modules/curricula
*3-5 yrs experince in Developing a training strategy and manage the delivery of training programs
*English fluency; French and/or Creole fluency a strong preference
*Previous international NGO experience for development projects
*Demonstrated ability to design, implement and evaluate learning programs that have measureable impact
*Demonstrated ability to organize, plan and coordinate face-to-face and virtual learning events
*Demonstrated knowledge of capacity building techniques.
*Demonstrated ability to organize and manage multiple resources on project teams
*First rate facilitation and presentation skills
*Strong influence and relationship management skills
*Excellent communication skills
