Chef de Cuisine at Le Plaza Hotel
Description du poste:
Head Chef / F&B Manager - 3 month contract
This is an executive position, which includes the organisation and set up of the kitchen and restaurant area.
Tasks will include
making decisions in staff hiring,
menu planning and costing and generally being responsible for the overall management of kitchen operations.
Integrating work processes and standards and tutoring actual team to adopt international practices.
Qualifications requises:
•High school diploma.
•At least 5 years work experience in a commercial kitchen.
Experience is Restaurant service is an advantage
•Good knowledge of French and English and Creole
•Computer skills: knowledge of Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word…)
•Excellent people skills: knows how to adapt to different situations.
•Comfortable with numbers with basic accounting knowledge.
•Attention to detail.

Le Plaza hotel is located in Port-au-Prince, and hosts 95 rooms and close to 5,000 sqft of conference space.
Le Plaza has a long history in Port-au-Price, having been a Holiday Inn franchise for 18 years then closed to the UN from 2003 to 2008. Since then, Le Plaza has reopened its facilities and is working to continually upgrade its service and facilities.
